Listen up Los Angelenos!
I thought I was one of the last people who knew this existed, but after speaking with several friends I’m not, so I’m sharing. From now through to June, the Natural History Museum (NHM) of Los Angeles is hosting their ‘First Fridays’ series, every first Friday of the month.
Hence the name ‘First Fridays’.

Anyway, I had the opportunity to go last Friday and had a blast! Dinosaurs, drinks, DJs, food trucks. I mean, what more do you want?!
If you’re looking for something a little different to do, that doesn’t require dressing up and long weekend lines to get in, I highly recommend heading to the NHM. You do need to purchase a ticket prior, note that tickets sell out fast so be sure to get yours in due time. I don’t recommend just showing up on the day of.
You get access to the museum after-hours, a guided tour, a scientist-led discussion, DJ lounge and concert hall.
Hours are from 5pm – 10pm, so give yourself enough time to enjoy the exhibits, walk around, grab a drink or two and enjoy the music before heading out to enjoy a bite from one of the food trucks right outside.
